Need to verify materials?
RFID Inbound / Outbound Verification
Read tagged items at a defined checkpoint, compare them with an expected list and show an exception before the movement is accepted.
The problem
Manual checking at dispatch and receiving can miss an item, accept the wrong shipment or record the wrong material movement.
What the solution does
Read tagged items at a defined checkpoint, compare them with an expected list and show an exception before the movement is accepted.
- Reduce manual checking
- Flag missing or unexpected items
- Record material movements
How it works
A typical system architecture, adjusted to your equipment and workflow.
- 01Tagged items
- 02Triggered read zone
- 03Compare expected list
- 04Accept / flag
- 05Record
Typical applications
- Warehouse receiving
- Dispatch and shipment verification
- Internal material movements
- Returnable container checkpoints
What goes into the system
- UHF tags, fixed readers and antennas
- Trigger sensor and indicator
- Edge controller with verification logic
- Optional dashboard or warehouse system interface
Feasibility first
Your package scope
One material-movement checkpoint. The final quantities, deliverables and acceptance criteria are confirmed in your quotation.
Included in the proposed scope
- Representative tag/read-zone feasibility trial
- Expected-list and exception workflow definition
- Agreed verification record and interface design
What we need from you
- Representative loads, tags and movement speed
- Expected-list source and exception owner
Agree how success is checked
- Measure read performance using representative loads
- Test correct, missing and unexpected-item scenarios
Acceptance criteria are agreed before work starts. A feasibility trial establishes limits before a wider deployment is committed.
Options and separately quoted work
- Additional areas, equipment or workflows
- Site installation, cabling and travel
- BMS / SCADA / PLC / ERP interfaces beyond the agreed scope
- Software hosting, licences and ongoing support where required
Quoted as a package after scope review. Hardware, engineering, site work and any recurring charges are stated separately in the proposal.
Pilot → Deploy → Care
Pilot
Test one agreed area or workflow. Confirm the critical assumptions and record the acceptance results.
Deploy
Roll out the agreed scope with configuration, commissioning and operator handover defined in the quotation.
Care
Add a separate support plan for agreed response times, health reviews or software maintenance. Optional and separately quoted.
Frequently asked questions
Can we read everything on a pallet?
Read performance depends on tag position, liquids, metal, packing and movement speed. A representative trial defines the achievable read zone.
Where does the expected item list come from?
It can come from a file, operator selection or an agreed WMS interface. Ownership of exceptions is part of the workflow design.
