Need to detect leaks?

Leak Detection

Place sensing cable or point sensors where leaks are likely, identify the affected zone and send an alarm to the people who can act.

Leak detection application around data center cooling equipment

The problem

A small leak can stay unnoticed beneath equipment or along pipework until it interrupts operations.

What the solution does

Place sensing cable or point sensors where leaks are likely, identify the affected zone and send an alarm to the people who can act.

  • Earlier leak awareness
  • Faster zone identification
  • Connect alarms to existing workflows

How it works

A typical system architecture, adjusted to your equipment and workflow.

  1. 01Leak sensor
  2. 02Zone controller
  3. 03Local alarm
  4. 04BMS / SCADA

Typical applications

  • Server and electrical rooms
  • CDU, rack cooling and CRAC / CRAH
  • Pumps, valves and chemical tanks
  • Pipelines and equipment drip trays
  • Battery and pharmaceutical facilities

What goes into the system

  • Liquid-compatible sensing cable or point sensors
  • Zoned leak controller
  • Local indicator and alarm
  • Optional BMS / SCADA / PLC interface

Package scope review

Your package scope

One defined sensing area and alarm workflow. The final quantities, deliverables and acceptance criteria are confirmed in your quotation.

Included in the proposed scope

  • Sensing layout and zone plan
  • Liquid-compatible sensing and controller selection
  • Agreed local alarm configuration and functional test

What we need from you

  • Exact liquid and operating temperature
  • Area layout, power and alarm interface

Agree how success is checked

  • Simulate a leak at agreed test locations
  • Confirm zone indication, alarm and reset behaviour

Acceptance criteria are agreed before work starts. A feasibility trial establishes limits before a wider deployment is committed.

Options and separately quoted work

  • Additional areas, equipment or workflows
  • Site installation, cabling and travel
  • BMS / SCADA / PLC / ERP interfaces beyond the agreed scope
  • Software hosting, licences and ongoing support where required

Quoted as a package after scope review. Hardware, engineering, site work and any recurring charges are stated separately in the proposal.

Pilot → Deploy → Care

Pilot

Test one agreed area or workflow. Confirm the critical assumptions and record the acceptance results.

Deploy

Roll out the agreed scope with configuration, commissioning and operator handover defined in the quotation.

Care

Add a separate support plan for agreed response times, health reviews or software maintenance. Optional and separately quoted.

Industries

Frequently asked questions

Can one sensor detect every liquid?

No. Water, acids, alkalis and oils require compatibility review. Share the liquid name, concentration and temperature before selecting a sensor.

What does a leak detection package include?

We agree the protected area, compatible sensing, controller and alarm workflow as one package. Installation, BMS integration and support are defined separately in the quotation.

Can it connect to our BMS?

Dry contacts or RS485 may be appropriate, depending on the selected controller and BMS protocol. Confirm the interface during configuration.
